Hello - unfortunately, I write films. I also may have chosen the worst profession at the worst possible time in the industry’s history. The thing is, I don’t think of ideas as a hobby or as a career path - I bleed them. It’s my life. I’ve been writing screenplays since a child.. before I even knew what I was writing was called a screenplay. My childhood writing’s were always filled with “fucks” and murder and Scarface was my favorite movie by age 10. I guess not much has changed other than I actually dialed back on the “fucks”. As I get older, I find humor in the chaos and philosophy in the absurd. I love nothing more than a story where everything goes wrong and the character’s failure at every corner is there for our amusement yet they somehow win us over with their commitment to living.
